LEE BROTHERS

I thought that you might be interested in some information that I have about my family memebers in the 48th Illinois Infantry Company "I". My ggggrandfather was George Mason Lee and he was a member of the 48th Illinois Infantry Company "I" along with his brothers Harvey Lee and Thomas B. Lee. George Mason Lee also had a 4th brother, Benjamin Franklin Lee that was a member of the 111th Illinois Infantry. Thomas Lee was killed in the battle of Shiloh, TN and is buried in Shiloh National Cemetery. Harvey was discharged disabled, and George Mason Lee was discharged after serving his full term of duty with the 48th. Provided (May 2005) by Richard E. Lee, Jr. RLeeJr1960@comcast.net.
